Though we obviously love and wholeheartedly support the idea that something this luxe and stunning can be called "basic" we must acknowledge that this longline bustier, with its two-panel cups, crenelated edging, corseted side stays and delicate lace is pretty much anything but. That's not to say that you can't wear it undetected under button-downs and workwear like any good basic (the convertible racerback makes it especially versatile), it's just to say that women who do that are also as far from basic as it gets, and beautifully so.
